About Me

I graduated with a first class BA in photography and digital imaging at Leeds Met University (I don't get to brag about that much so I will do it here). It was a uniquely hybrid course in its balance between technical / commercial photography and art photography. Subsequently my photographic career path has mirrored the academic one in that I've explored both sides of the coin. Today I've settled in what feels like another hybrid position. I work commercially as an interior photographer and I create photographic art that I sell in print form through a variety of channels. 

 

For a while I struggled and fought against this seemingly split personality, but I've come to truly believe that this hybrid approach has a positive impact on both sides of what I do today. My technical aptitude and skills with editing have a huge influence on what I create on an artistic level - just as the creative vision that I've built directs and deepens the visuals I produce commercially. And I love it.
